1 month ago I realised that I can’t access any sub menus by pressing the number when calling business (Press 1 for existing customers, press 2 if you have issues with billing, press 3 for other issues). If I put my sim into my old andoird phone, use my wife’s iphone the landline I can do it so it’s not on the side of the business, I called at least 10 different businesses so it must be some issue of the nothing phone (1). I can hear and see that the button press get’s registered on the phone but the other side doesn’t recived it. Turned dial tones on and off, speaker mode, head phones nothing makes a difference.
I tried a bunch of general solutions for Android with no luck and then contacted nothing support but since the 1st reply from them where they told me to try following steps (even if I wrote in my initial message that I did a couple of them already):
1. Check if it can be resolved by restarting the device.
2. Clear the cache and storage of the relative applications.
3. Uninstall and install the application.
4. Update to the latest software version.
5. Backup user data and restore factory Settings
I replied that I tried all the steps and the issue still exists. Since then I get mails every day that I should please reply if the issue was resolved that they haven’t heard back from me.
I replied already to 3 of these mails. So I’m hoping maybe somebody here has managed to resolve this issue, couldn’t find any thing with the search.
