But it’s smart that Nothing is partnering with those three brands. They’ll probably advertise the drop on their social media channels - and they have more than one million followers when combined.

At least they made sure that the box is different and it also doesn’t look too big. In some years, regardless of Nothing becoming a big name in the tech industry or not, you’ll always have the memories and the excitement of getting a unique edition of their very first product. 🥳

I’m highly discombobulated about this and the lack of more information. I also don’t understand this plot twist of events, so I guess I’ll have to order a container of patience and wait until the official sales start. 🙃

Archive (bot) As tempting as it may be, I am going to try and buy them directly from Nothing.

That way, not only I won’t have to deal with intermediaries, I know exactly how much they’ll cost and how much the shipping fees are going to be.

And I want to have the experience of buying directly from the company so I can pronounce myself about it in the first person. 🤓

I might try, but given the even crazier demographics of those companies, I’m not exactly hopeful. These are guys who are used to sneaker drops, which is even crazier than this.

This is the first I’m hearing of these new limited drops. I tried looking for more info on the Hypebeast announcement but haven’t found anything so I think I’ll just save my time and let them pass.

I’m with you in saying I’m a little confused by this seemingly out of nowhere announcement but I’m assuming with the success of the first limited drop and extra hype, Nothing is just keeping the train running full steam ahead.

Agreed. I don’t feel like putting in extra work trying to figure out delivery fees and third party customer service especially now just to be a handful of days ahead of general release.

Nope, I am on the same page as @Cheetosdust, I’d like to order directly from Nothing. I think that is the best way to show your support towards a company.

Also I am curious about the whole buying & shipping procedure. How well do they package the product for shipping, which shipping company/service do they use, the shipping time and so on. This tells a lot about a company, how much they care, and since Nothing is still new, I’d like to learn and experience how do they handle this. Someone might overlook at these, but they do matter to me, as a good, smooth and quick buying process really sets a company apart from the others and elevates it from the crowd. The product is the main attraction, sure, but its surroundings are just as equal, if that makes sense. I mean nobody would like to deal with a damaged product because the company didn’t care enough about the packaging, although I think Nothing will handle everything greatly. I hope.

Similar experience for me as well. I had earlier contacted the team via email regarding the investors merch and they were prompt. But, after the launch I’ve tried contacting them via email, Twitter and Instagram regarding my ear-1 order. No response whatsoever. Really disheartened by this, never expected this from a company from @Carl , who gives such importance to the community.

Yeah, I’d be much more disappointed if I were an investor, which I was hoping to be prior to finding out folks from the US weren’t eligible. No employees are monitoring/responding to these threads?

Dominic I completely agree with you - even if the product is the centerpiece, there are several satellite factors that allow the costumer to build a better and complete understanding of a company.

For Nothing, since they are just starting, I do think it’s going to be trial by fire. I wish they succeed; especially being mostly a digital company, Social Media - and these forums to a certain degree - are an enormous megaphone that amplifies the good and the bad.

But to me, @David replying here says a lot. Direct and concise, these are messages that also make a difference. I do hope that all the concerns are solved effectively and swiftly, but taking a minute to follow the company’s forums certainly shows attention and care. Hopefully it’s a sign of things to come.

Ohh that’s strange. I wasn’t aware that people from US weren’t allowed to invest.

This form works, they responded within a few hours. But for some reason, their basic infrastructure isn’t working properly. They asked me to reply with some details of my order, but my reply email wasn’t getting delivered. Probably some issue with their server. This is the first time I’m experiencing this kind of issue with a brand.

PS- I tripled check their email id, tried sending mail by manually copy pasting the email id, using the reply option, everything. It was the same result.

tdm we are building up the system to be able to reply to support enquirires on social media, this should be deployed in August.

From what I can see you sent a message to our Customer Support team yesterday at 18:49h (UK time) and you received a response at 19:58h (UK time). Did you try contacting us via another channel/e-mail address?

No, I don’t think that’s the case with you. They’ve no issue and is responding to all the queries/complaints submitted using the forum. But you’re not able to reply to that response email when they ask you for more info.

I reported the same using the forum, but then again Mike from support sent me a response from the same email and asked for more info of my prior ticket. I’m not able to communicate back cause of the same issue. Please ask them support team to work on all incoming tickets using another email until the issue is resolved. Otherwise, it’ll be a 1 way communication and customers wont be able to reply back to you guys. It’ll be a bad experience altogether.

Oh wow, I was refreshing the page out of curiosity and it started to get slower and slower. When it was time, I got this:

When it was available again, the ear (1) status was already like you can see below:

All of this in less than two minutes - the timestamp on that screenshot is 14:01.

Now the “Add to Bag” option is not even showing anymore. 😅

The site went down for 4 min for me from 14:00 to 14:04

And when it came back up it was already out of stock.

The price was 112€ I dunno if it’s to cover the taxes because hbx is a US website or if it’s to cover the shipping costs..
