Hi,
I am facing the following issue: Using the app “Blitzer.de”, the audio output from that app comes over a bluetooth connection between car and Nothing Phone 2, in the app it’s called HFP (it’s like a telephone call, as if someone calls me and I answer him over the freespeaking car mechanism via BT). Freespeaking via BT over HFP works fine. The App “Blitzer” is not the reason for the issue, as it works with three different smartphones (Galaxy S7 , Galaxy alpha, Xiaomi 11) in my car (BMW).
I am not using Android Auto as my car doesn’t have that feature.
The audio output of the app works, but after one or two rides with the car und new connections with the phone, the audio output doesn’t work anymore, although the BT connection is established again. I can only solve that problem by restarting the phone (but that’s no solution).
Even a restart of BT doesn’t solve the problem, I have to restart the whole phone.
The technical support, very surprising, doesn’t help me. They tell me I have to ask for help at my reseller. I did, but as I expected, they cannot help, as it is e pure technical issue.
In my opinion, there is a bug in the BT-Stack oder something like that.
I am on Android 14 with Nothing OS 2.5.5 newest version.
Don’t know how to go on. Support don’t want to help me.
I am very sure, that it is no problem concerning the app oder concerning my car. The isse is reproducible.
Any ideas?
