After Carl’s recent tweet seeking feedback and suggestions for the Quick Settings on Nothing OS, I created a quick concept and tweeted it as a reply. While it was just a quick concept, I thought why not improve it further and do a full revamp.
Here is my take on how I would like the Control Center/Notification Panel to look like.
Since I’m not particularly fond of separate control panels; I took the current Control Center/Notification Panel on Nothing OS as base and tried improving it without major UI specific changes, that Nothing users have been asking.
- Replaced Nothing Dot font of time to the default Android system font.
- Split Network and WiFi toggles. (Can be accessed without expanding the Quick Setting Panel)
- Added Brightness slider with an Auto Brightness toggle. (Can be accessed without expanding the Quick Setting Panel)
- Cleaned up Notifications panel area.
Below are a few more screenshots of the concept, explaining the “why” behind every change.
