Photos app feature - Name a photo for easier search

While surfing my gallery i realised without backing up i can’t search for pictures.

What if there was an app where in caption(also a feature in Google photos but can’t search by the caption) certain words or keywords if written could be searched later on.

Chirag So you need to input a caption on every photo that you shoot ? or it automatically detect scenes / poeple / animal etc… ?

Remi F for it to automatically detect you have to upload it and then pay for cloud service for external computation

I am saying that suppose i click 30 pictures when i go out somewhere but I’ll like 2-3 of them( good pictures) so i will name them and when i need to find it i can be like (cafe on abcd’d birthday with this person) get it?

Remi F only name the best picture myself and caption it (night life, dog, lotus) by myself and then the search engine in the gallery could use AI to search all the related synonyms or words related to what i search when i need to do

Chirag then most people will NEVER use this feature I can garanty that 😂 3 or 4 steps to create a tag and search for it, on every photo that you would like to know about is just really not user friendly.

Just star/favorite your picture it’ll be much more easier to find it later !

Remi F but you can star many photos for many people. It’s already a thing on google photos i am saying just to show it when i search the keyword. If people got to know about it they will use it

Remi F it’s very simple to tag swipe up on the photo and there’s a line given to write caption. That’s it
