Apps like BeReal always smooth out skin, making me look like face shaped pancake dough (gets extra weird with facial hair).
Jokes aside, I did nome research and could not find any info on disabling this smoothing (called “retouching” in the system camera app) feature system wide or on a low level, even with dev options enabled. I am specifically talking about the front camera of the Nothing phone 2a, OS ver. 2.6. Would be happy to see a parametrization of this feature. Maybe also reconsider the ethics behind having it on by default. Thanks for any info.
