Mahathir Right, the camera is very important for the price. If they don’t take it seriously, people probably willing to go to other flagships than nothing

I would even like to see some AI features for editing and other stuff, but I can’t sense a sensible AI feature from NOTHING as basic needs like camera algorithms are crying in the corner.

Bear in mind that all the 3 companies that you refer too enormous company that have the resources to work on that.
Even One plus / BBK didn’t take the leap on that yet… So there is still work even for big smartphone manufacturer.

What Nothing is doing is pretty smart in my opinion: developing an entirely new model is quite difficult, so relying on existing AI that has proven working is the way to go. Their integration with ChatGPT is pretty good right and I think they will continue in this path

Recently we all heard Nothing is going to show their hands in AI race, as we know the company would most probably consider these AI in their built in session , to be unique in their ways. So I want to ask other Nothing users like me, that would you like to see Those “AI” of Nothing in their upcoming Flagship phones just like Samsung did for their S24 series and for Apple ( Not AI but similar features) to 15 series or as an OS update to every Nothing users to get that taste?

CYPHER_LYNX Well, we have yet to be told.

The Phone (2) was performing well, when it comes to AI tasks, and the fact that the next major Phone release will be focused on artificial intelligence will probably be the answer. The answer in short is most likely. While it is possible most of the Phone lineup will get the same (or similar) AI features, maybe either the Phone (1) or (2a) may not receive the features.

Karim Azmy As you know Nothing 2 is built with Snapdragon 8 gen1 , so technically AI which have threads on Nothing launcher (mentioned by their side) does means it should min run with Snapdragon 8 gen 3 which is AI enabled , that do make concerning for past model users.

CYPHER_LYNX most of the AI feature will probably not be available for Phone that don’t have a dedicated AI chipset. That being said, I hope we will get all the new launcher and innovation in Nothing OS, even if it’s not powered by AI.

I think it will all come down to whether the phone can handle it or not. As Remi pointed out above, existing models probably don’t have a chipset that’s dedicated to AI and performance on this level. Perhaps some features might trickle down to other devices, but for the full experience we probably will be looking at the next generation of devices.

Louis ☕️ we bought the phones and raised this company, the old models do need to be considered in it. As u can see iphone providing ios 18 for older model , regardless of phone capabilities
