How to disable network access for selected apps

Hi All, I have Nothing Phone 1, is it possible to disable some apps to connect to internet…. I like to disable few chat apps to connect to internet to like temporarily disable it while still being able to use internet otherwise

I had Xiaomi phone previously in that I could change the permission of app to allow network access or not

In app permissions I only found to toggle background data on or off, which I set to off and even restarted the device, but still app is showing new chat notifications and behaving like same I checked after enabling developer options as well, but found nothing

It was a pretty great feature to have especially if we want some peace time while still enjoying connectivity, and I would really like this to be there in future updates

Xiaomi has been around for long time, and they use MIUI.. heavily customized version of Android. Heavy.

Nothing is new company, and they’re pretty much stock android with extra tweaks here there, and famous features like app lock, dual app, etc.

Really can’t expect all feature from Xiaomi to be available in Nothing.

Keseven it’s not a feature it’s just a bug I think if we restricted app for using background data It still uses the data in background.

It would be great if each app could be set to offline. I want to reduce the amount of ads and mobile data consumption.

Hi,

I’m currently on a OnePlus 7T pro, and thinking of switching to the nothing phone 2. One of the features I rely on on my phone is the ability to turn off access to mobile data, WiFi or both, for every app individually. Is this a possibility on the nothing phone?
