PedroGarc_aCrevill_n Yep, dealing with phone heating is the worst. Iām seeing it too with the Nothing Phone 2 after the NOS 2.5.6 update. Apps like social media and media players seem to be causing the phone to heat up more and drain the battery faster.
While the screen-on time (SOT) is still decent at 8 hours (only a 30-minute drop from before), the constant heating worries me. It could potentially damage the battery in the long run.
The worst part? Nothing seems to be acknowledging it as an issue. They keep saying the battery drain and heating are normal! But come on, if the phoneās always above 40Ā°C, thatās definitely not okay.
Hopefully, theyāll take it seriously and release a fix soon!
