We all know about Nothing’s bright red store by now, the iconic refurbished K67 kiosk (I wrote a little bit about it last year) … WELL, it made a return to Covent Garden, London, once again, this time acting as the first place in the world to buy phone (1) in person.
Since I had such a good time at the kiosk last December, I volunteered to help out the Nothing team by representing the community, nerding out with fellow fans and answering customers’ questions. The team was also generous enough to let me sell the very first device 🤗. Despite the long queue, the energy was electric - we were selling phones like hotcakes!
@Carl came down to experience the buzz and ended up behind the counter. His sales patter was 100% but there was some trouble with a pesky card machine 😉. There were certainly some surprised customers when they discovered that they were being served by the CEO!
As the saying goes, time flies when you’re having fun and the day was over before we knew it. I loved being able to talk about the brand with other people who feel as passionately as I do or with people who had just discovered Nothing for themselves.
The atmosphere all day was wonderful, shoutout to all the people that came by and made it so special. If Nothing ever holds an event near you, I assure you, it’s worth the journey!
