CMF Watch Pro Auto Stress Measure

When I manually invoke the stress test, it gives me an actual measurement, but when leaving the watch to do it by itself via “Auto Stress Monitoring”, it always returns a result of 65. I am on the latest app update, latest watch update and latest Nothing Phone (1) update.

Any help is greatly appreciated <3

Update:

I think it reports the first stress value of the day for the rest of the day? Today it’s all 51-52. But manually running gives me between 30 and 50.

My dev brain is telling me that the wrong variable is being displayed on the graph. It looks to be averaging between the first stress int of the day and whatever your previous average was.

6c75 I had the same issue, I think it’s because when it cannot detect the stress level, It will use the last successful read level and automatically determine it. It does mention on the watch it cannot give a accurate reading if the wrist or body is in motion, just like how blood oxygen requires you to stay still. Edit: Watch manual checked at 43 stress

Pika yeah seems to be the same issue. I have no issues with the heart rate or blood oxygen auto tracking. Those seem to be fine.

I’ve been waiting until the start of every hour to check my auto stress and then do a manual test and it’s never close…

Still trying to figure out what the issue could be on my end. I just find it odd that it will find a value and then report the same value +- 1.

6c75 I think when it first does the measure at the start of the day or when you put on the watch, it will use that number when it cannot calculate the stress level, probably by movement. I’ll try to disable auto stress and see if anything changes.

Pika just got done running an entire night of auto and every single one was 47. I even sat at like 1am completely still so it would get a fair reading. Didn’t deviate once, all of them from last night are 47.

Manually running the test a few times will give me any results +- 5 give or take. But all the auto ones are +- 1. No shot the auto measure can just never get a accurate reading due to weird watch placment on my end or something.

I will continue to bug test this, honestly been finding it fun.

6c75 Forgot to disable auto stress, but I’ll do a full day without that feature, and check back in with the results, just checked, all of my stress levels were at 50-55 (these results were on the watch, because the app somehow didn’t track any health results today or yesterday) and manually scanning gave a result of 50.
