No changes with Dirac On/Off

I´m new to Nothing, enjoying the Phone (2) 12/512. After few days of exploring the system (OS 2.5.6) I found only one issue - Dirac sound enhancement does nothing when switching On/Off. Not a big issue, I´m using Tidal with Poweramp Equalizer or Poweramp directly with it´s own DSP and my Hi-Fi collection, but I´m little bit curious what this enhancement can do instead of Dolby Atmos (which mostly destroys the sound spectrum).

Anyone is facing this issue, or am I the only one in the crowd? :-)

Same, I have never felt any change with Dirac enabled/disabled. I think Nothing should adopt Dolby instead of Dirac as audio boost system. Dirac is like scamming them 😅

Jean Dolby Atmos is not bad, but from my point of view and experience, it´s mostly contraproducitve. On other hands, Dolby Atmos needs licencing and licencing cost a money, so I fully understand why Nothing didn´t adopted it. But, there are few other ways, how to “improve” the sound or give customers some options for way less money - DTS & Dirac.

Or, they can unite with Poweramp developer and adopt Poweramp equalizer with Poweramp DSP and voila, we will have superb EQ options and sound processing :-)

Ghouless I want Dolby more thinking about spatial audio support than the audio boost. I would like to see it implemented on the Phone (3)

Jean Don´t expect more than a wider and little bit better positioning of objects in the sound. Without proper speaker setup, it´s physicaly imposible to reproduce exact position and realistic 3D sound enviroment. I´m not saying it´s bad, just sound is bit more artifical and lacks instrument precision (in terms of reproducing music, of course with the movies or games it´s way better experience). Way worst experience I had with spatial audio was on iPhone, absolutely don´t understand who can listen for something like this if is not absolutely deaf.

I have the same device model, but IDK why there is LEFT AND RIGHT separation issue with Phone speaker, aux connected through 3.5mm to USB-C (NON- DAC), In Bluetooth it’s good, channel separation is there, but not in inbuilt and output…, I see this issue with other Phones too, but it can be resolved when equalizer turned off, But there is no equalizer in Nothing Phone 2, Also Dirac audio is just boosting the bass, but not resolving any other issues…, I request Nothing Team to provide equalizer settings and better separation in inbuilt Phone Speaker…
