Nectar it’s so frustrating it doesn’t have NFC, would’ve been perfect. The changeable soft case and price would’ve been perfect for not using a cover.

The 2a needs a cover unfortunately. So lose lose.

megatomic I came across some feedback about the camera lens being easily scratched. Can you confirm if this is accurate?

I dont think they can answer that but lets hope that one guy who pointed out the scratches on camera lens is wrong, he may have dropped it or something? Not sure.

The 33W charger is not available right now to buy, but the CMF Phone 1 is?

Doesn’t really change the point that (in the UK) the ‘CMF ultra-fast charger’ is for sale without making clear to consumers that the CMF Phone 1 (or any CMF device) can’t actually be fast charged because they max out at 33W – or at least that is my understanding. Therefore, calling it a ‘CMF charger’ is misleading in my opinion.

neel_gemini Hi Neel, in the more than 2 months I’ve had with the phone I’ve had no scratches show up on either the camera lenses or the front screen for that matter. Now just bear in mind my phone came entombed in a massive plastic security shell so it would be very difficult for a scratch to happen to it in this state. We’ll need to watch the real world usage to see if this is a thing or not.

Maybe the 33w charger will be open for sale from tomorrow in UK? idk man. In India, the phone is going on sale tomorrow, officially. But if it has already been on sale in UK, it should have all the combos, offers, accessories on sale too. Not having the option to buy the 33w charger or other CMF phone 1 related accessories just does not make sense to me.

Maybe wait few more days until the full range is open for sale?

just got my phone first 3 hours of operation has been stable very smooth barely any glitches

I understand that the case for this phone is pretty much the back and you can make it interchangeable but hopefully nothing as a company really does make an authentic clear case for this phone or any case for that matter

What are your thoughts about this particular color? and the camera lens scratches issue..

Fractal I would say the dark blue and the orange to reddish variant would be what people most want because of the fact that when it comes to the light green along with the black variant - the material is very decent but you get a nice flat hard plastic feel but with the blue and the red you get more of a hard leathery back feel(via the texture). This is nice on cmf Because now whichever one people prefer you have the option of changing to each one. Regarding the camera lens scratch issue I plan on looking for camera bumper protectors like the ones they sell on Amazon for iPhone I’m pretty sure if I find a complete circular version they’ll fit on the phone.

What an incredible value proposition with the CMF phone 1.

Love the boxy industrial design, exposed chrome screws. The HDR display and silky OS were a big surprise. I wasn’t expecting them to be this good at this price.

The 50 MP sony sensor has done well for me so far. It should get even better with future updates.

Excited about how this modular accessory platform evolves over time.

This is a big win for Team CMF by Nothing.

In my perspective cmf phone 1 is looking good and its good inside but we have to consider outside also which means the body, does anyone noticed its like a rubber kinda which is easy to destroy especially the buttons so in reality phone is not worth it

What do we do with a phone who dosent provide protection coz the outer body is so cheap.

I’d brought it for my missus as she liked the look of it. The migration from her Samsung went smoothly.

But I was surprised it didn’t support NFC as though that was a basic feature for all phones nowadays. I showed her the card holder option and TBH, it looks pretty stupid. How on earth do you find a case to cover that up.

I presume there will be option to add this in eventually.

BTW the missus love the camera 👍

sean (1) extra case is costly and what if people dont want to replace it then? I think it would be better to have aluminium mody its okay if in this case phone worth little more than this
