Watch Pro 2 and Tattoos

I just received my watch pro 2 and because my arms are tattooed to the bottom of my wrist it’s been my experience that some sensors do not work reading my heart rate. I’ve just confirmed that wearing the watch nice and snug on both wrist and I’ve also tried the inside of my wrist the watch can not read my heart rate. Has anyone else experienced this?

I have the same issue. Both arms tattooed – The sensor only works on parts of the skin that are not covered with ink 🙁
It’s my first smart watch so I don’t know if this is an issue for other smartwatches as well because of hardware or if it can be fixed with a software update…

not exactly an CMF issue, more of a sensor limitation.
Some Tattoo inks prevent the sensor’s light to be reflected back to the sensor, causing this type of issue. The darker the ink, greater the possibility of having issues with the HB sensor on a smartwatch.

There’s a workaround for this, apparently it works, fell free to test it

Have tattoos? Have a galaxy watch and not receiving notifications? HR Monitor not working well? You absolutly need to try 1 inch epoxy stickers. Stick them to the bottom of your watch over the sensor and all your issues are gone or at least mine were. Cheap enough to try! Links in comments. : r/GalaxyWatch (reddit.com)
