There is no emoji support in notifications. Does anyone know when an update will be released to fix this? The same problem occurred a year ago with CMF Watch Pro and now with CMF Watch Pro 2. It’s really strange that it doesn’t exist.
No emoji support in notifications in CMF Watch Pro 2
Hey
Can you give some examples of apps that aren’t displaying emojis properly on the watch preview?
Standard emojis are supported but not special ones, which means that the watch will not be able to display all emojis.
Hey
As for me, emoticons do not appear when someone writes to me on messenger. From what I checked, there are only a few emoticons that are displayed, e.g. “”. Even the usual laughing emoticon or red heart are not displayed. I also checked notifications from another application and it’s the same.
AdrianMaziukiewicz i also Experience the same
I just switched to the CMF Watch 2 Pro from my Pixel Watch 2 because i thought it could do everything as good as my old watch + 10 times better battery performance.
but that the emojis are not showing up is just ridiculous i mean cmon, it can’t be that hard man, thats a 2 day job for a trainee
Derren Hey, can I get a response? It’s been 8 days now.
What response are you hoping for? I responded earlier on in this discussion saying that this is currently how the watch functions, only certain emojis will be displayed. I’m not certain that this will change, the only thing you can do is provide feedback via the CMF watch app.
Derren You didn’t answer earlier, you asked me in which applications emoticons don’t work. I understand there’s nothing you can do about it, but you asked me so I just expected an answer
AdrianMaziukiewicz this is community not a formal help from Nothing so if you want answer you have to wait for it untill somebody will be know how to help

Here is part of my previous response.
Standard emojis are supported but not special ones, which means that the watch will not be able to display all emojis.
This is currently how the watch functions, and emojis are limited, with only certain ones being able to be displayed.
Please provide feedback via the CMF watch app to get your thoughts to the team.
marszyszk I had to know if it’s just a function that doesn’t work on this watch or my fault. Besides, thanks to this post being here, other people who search for information on this topic also have an answer. And CMF technical support only replies that they thank you for helping with development and nothing more, so writing to them is pointless.
I love the Emojis support that it carries, but it’s partial. Why not all the Emojis that our phone supports? It would be more clearer for us to understand… also in the quick reply, this being supportive will help the users…
Hey please see info above. Currently only some emojis are supported, and “Special Emojis” are not.
Why are not emojis supported ? Despite of some emoji supporting features as written here, I have used a watch Pro for a while but no emojis are displayed on it even standard emojis.
I bought it on 1st jan 2025 and am seeing this emoji not supported problem, can anyone seeing this from nothing or cmf fix it in any later updates?
