CMF Pro 2 button and navigation

I have just got the new CMF Watch Pro 2, but im missing 2 features.
First of all, i miss that i cant set an app to open when i long press the crown. I would love to set this to like my voice assistant so i can activate it on the fly, and not have to navigate to the app in the app selection page. It would be so handy

Second, the watch has gps. You can track your workouts but you cant just set an navigation on the watch itself to a place you want to go to. Is the limitting factor the watch processing power or is it compatibility with google maps?

This seems like a massively missed opportunity. I was excited to get this for myself and a couple of family members who go on long walks and my get lost (if their phone dies on the trip).

This could have been sold as a watch to give to people who get lost. I also would have loved leaving the house and walking somewhere just with this watch to find my way back home. But alas, it does not seem to do this and for some reason its quite difficult to discern this information online.

Please if possible add GPS directions app, would instantly buy a handful if this became available.

I think the reason you can’t actually navigate on the watch are:

The watch no internet.
The map files would need to be transferred to the watch. If that would take as long as copying watchfaces, that would take days.
The watch most likely has not enough space for saving maps.
The performance might be too low.
Google’s map data costs too much
Other free map provider have limited data available for import target markets.
The feature simply is not relevant enough.

Of course these are all speculations. They don’t have to be true.
