Spotify Widgets Issues

Not sure what’s going here but these look terrible compared to the rest of the OS, half the artist name or the entire artist name is missing.

Use the media player in Nothing Widgets, it’s 2×2 and you can swipe up to have info of the music, left and right to skip or rewind or even tap the cover to pause.

ATKNE-np2a_hype Whilst the basic functionality is there, I feel like it’s their worst designed widget and out of personal preference tend to like the default Spotify one a lot more.

I’d be cool with a 5×1 sized nothing widgets with all the buttons similar to the Spotify one if they cannot fix it.

Yeah you can either use the Nothing Media Player or try and see if you can resize the Spotify widget and if yes then making it bigger might work.

Sid I understand what you’re asking for but other that the 5×1 the nothing widget offers eveything the Spotify one does… it can play, pause, skip and go to previous. So what exactly, in features, are you looking for?

_ivn_13 I’m looking for the Spotify widget to work as it should.

My post isn’t about the Nothing music widget as I personally think their music widget looks and works poorly compared to the Spotify one or any of the 4×1 or 5×1 that any of the music apps provide.

Sid I see, unfortunately the only thing we can do about that is hope that the team sees this.

Edit: I tried using the Apple Music widget and that’s facing the same problem so like damn.

_ivn_13 Yeah, I noticed that one too.

Even the YouTube Music widget appears to only work correctly if it’s on “4” grid setting, the moment, it’s set to “5” it goes awry.
