CMF Watch Pro 2 inaccurate step count

Using the watch as a step counter. Over the last week I’ve been using the watch and the step counter has been become increasingly inaccurate to the point that yesterday i went for a 20 minute walk and the step counter hadn’t budged by a single digit. No idea what is going on and if it can be fixed.

not yet as after switching the watch off and on it started properly counting again.

I have noticed that step and Calories account are lower than same values measured with my previous Huawei GT4.

Doing the same path CMF counts several thousands less steps and hundred less calories.

At the end of the day it not possible to fill the calories ring unless you have recorded a run with GPS.

Same issue here - watch 2 pro just stopped tracking steps after midnight. After a restart - all went to normal again

Hi.

I am a beginner user of watch pro 2 from japan.

I bought the product from amazon today, and all activation process is successfully completed.

But I realized that my watch’s step sensor is too sensitive.

The step statistics shows about 30 steps though I actually walked about 10 steps.

Please give me information to solve this problem.

zenta0227 I’m afraid there’s no option to adjust the sensitivity. I recommend getting in touch with the support team, they might be able to help further.

I bought this watch because of its round design look. I thought at least the pedometer will work properly but nope.
Now, the thing is

The watch faces are not at all good.
The pedometer doesn’t work properly, i have compared it with my phone and Galaxy Watch 5.
It gets disconnected again and again.
When I select exercise - strength training, it doesn’t record the steps i walk. Like seriously?

I am just regretting it.

Sleep tracking - The CMF watch Pro 2 by Nothing records afternoon naps when it is not used and ghost sleep tracking is found during the night when it is not tied to the wrist.

Steps count - Some steps are not counted and during bike travel, it is counting the steps rapidly.

I got my Watch Pro 2 a few days ago, one of the main reasons for getting it, was the step counter.

Unfortunately it isn’t that good for counting steps…

I reckon the issue lies in the fact that it does not track steps, but rather the arm swinging motions. So I could trick my watch into counting steps by only swinging my arms back and forth…

Maybe they will give us an update that fixes the tracking method…

My first watch pro 2 was lacking 10-30 steps of 100- Got it exchanged, this one is more correct. However, it just seems it’s very uneven quality and much depends on your specific item. It’s stupid to release something with too cheap internals. SW is also pretty lacking and uneven, there’s tons of things to improve, but there’s been no SW updates for months now, feels like it’s abandoned.
