My phone says it has 12+2GB RAM?

Hey everyone,

I just purchased a nothing phone 2a yesterday. Today I noticed that in the setting it says the ram is 12+2GB. But on the website it is mentioned that it is supposed to be 12+8GB. I am really concerned that my device might be fake or repacked. I have attached a screenshot of my about page in the setting where you can see what I described. Could you please guide me what is going on?

Settings > System > RAM Booster. By default it seems to be set to 2GB. You can choose another amount or turn it off.

Derren. Oh right I just saw it in the settings that I can change it. Does it come with this by default though (I mean 12+2)? Or because it was set on this right out of the box.

SoheilLotfi - yes. This is one by default, with +2GB of RAM boost being the setting out of the box.

Entirely each users choice if they wish to keep it on, boost it higher etc.

It’s better to turn it off. It is a gimmicky feature.
