Acknowledgement of Phone (2a) issues

Hello Nothing team. We need to talk about 2a. And this website is made so that you can hear our voices and also we can know about your activities… Well, it’s been about a month and a half since I bought the 2a phone and to be honest, I really enjoy using this phone. It feels good that this is due to your team’s creativity and attention to detail. But some problems really worry me, such as: the battery heating up after half an hour of normal use, which you can see here

I request that someone from the Nothing development or software team speak to us and reassure us that the Nothing team has been made aware of these issues by Community and is investigating the issues and finding a solution for them. As far as I know, OS 3.0 will be released in about a month and I wonder if a phone like the 2a can handle a heavier load on its OS? Or is OS 3.0 the key to solving battery drain and battery overheating problems?

I request the mods to pass this post on to the software and development team of Nothing to provide a proper response to the 2a community.

Unfortunately you won’t get a response directly from the Nothing team here on the community. The community website exists for community members to discuss and collaborate amongst themselves. Sometimes these discussion topics are about aspects of Nothing devices that the community may be unhappy with.

As always, it’s best to submit your feedback and bug reports for Nothing OS via the Settings > System > Feedback option. Using this method built into Nothing OS ensures that your feedback goes directly to Nothing and is forwarded on to the correct team to be made aware.

If you’re experiencing a hardware related issue, such as battery heating, it’s best to reach out to the official Nothing support team as they’ll be able to assist and advise you on steps you can take to troubleshoot, try to fix or perhaps send your device for repair if necessary.

adbo Thank you for your reply, but this does not help the situation, Nothing should give a public answer and reassure the buyers and consumers of its products. And I’ve seen many times from team members here why can’t they talk to us here when there’s a problem and we need a clear answer? And most importantly, the problem of phone battery overheating is not solved by sending a message to the support team! If it was fixed there wouldn’t be so many users talking about it here, it’s a public problem and should be fixed by Nothing.

Mortal man totally agree. Camera issues are still not rectified even after 5 months of launch. Nobody owns responsibility for bad & slow processing.
