Funny that you just posted that, My phone 1 just SUDDENLY, the back glass looked loose, so I gave it a squeeze and it just popped right back out! I know there are charging circuit controls inside the phone to keep it from over charging or using too high of input voltage, so it can’t be that! I have used the original charger and cable for the last 2 years. I expected to get a lot more mileage out of the phone before anything like this. I had 3 different OnePlus models before I followed Carl over the rainbow. Hopefully, they will fix this for a reasonable price.
