Youtube player issue

I’m facing this everytime video plays but still play icon shows up while touching the player.

Whenever I report this to support my ticket is getting resolved by saying restart Youtube.

Anyone else facing this issue on Ph 2?

Appears to be normal YouTube behaviour. Don’t see any issues there or else you’ve not really expanded on what your issue is.

If your issue is that whenever your touch the playback of a video the play/pause overlay shows up then that’s normal.

play/pause overlay should show that’s what I’m also saying if you look at my recording YouTube video is playing but the play icon ( > ) only shows up it should show the pause icon ( | | ) there

I hope it clarifies your doubt

one more thing I’m facing this issue with every media player play/pause toggle isn’t working properly so its not an app level issue more like OS issue

Separate to your YouTube app issue, have you tried streaming from youtube.com via the Brave browser, instead of the app? The browser automatically blocks YouTube ads, allows audio/music to continue playing when the screen is off, and is much more private than Google’s YouTube app. You can also place a shortcut to youtube.com from your Home screen.
