Really want Nothing to make a phone with 6.1 or 6.2 inch phone. Industrially it would really be a good as a compact phone for a company too. Like pixel, samsung or apple do.

Unfortunately the CMF phone 1 does not fulfill the request from this thread. It has 6.67′' and people are looking for a small phone… Though, CMF phone 1 is impressive from a design and value for money perspective.

Can we have a smaller 6inch or even 5.7inch size when the Phone 3 and 3a. I love the 2a but hate the 6.7inch size. Phones should be smaller not a huge brick in your pocket.

Terrob nothing goes with the trending size of screens, but yeah it will good to see one phone with compact size like in pixel a series.

Hi ! I wanna see a small Nothing phone like the basic iphone line up. The glyph interface, a good processor and the clean os with decent camera and battery life is enough for me to abandon my iphone and come here. Really wanna try nothing, but the large display stands in the way. A compact 6 inch phone.

PLEASE for the LOVE OF TECH make a SMALL phone:

RECIPE

Doesn’t need to be flagship or wtv
Use the Screw design from CMF (for better reparability and community inovations)
Use Aluminium block around the edges and in the back
Size could be (iphone 13 size, or iphone 5) - everything must be almost reachable with your tumb for easy one hand operation
Small LED light (in front) for notifications or received calls
(optional) Try to REMOVE the punch hole as the front facing camera (like sony) It doens’t look great, it’s time to improve and move away from this
NO FANCY REAR CAMERA DESIGN cheneningans to make the product stand out or to follow a product line
MUST HAVE AN SD CARD SLOT

This is what you need to make a good small phone any suggestions are welcome.

Also I have seen some renders of a small phone with the lights and transparency on the back. I don’t think that is a good solution design wise. The phone should be practical, easy to replace parts and the actual design should be around those things.

I support pretty much everything you said here, apart from the phone not having flagship specs. I want something that will last me five years, so would require upper-mid tier performance at the very least. See: Zenfone 9 & Galaxy 23.

I also dream of a compact smartphone too! I used the iPhone 12 Mini and loved every second. One of my favourite phones of all time was the iPhone SE 1st gen, with the iPhone 5S style body, perfection.

What screen size would you say is perfect? And what specs would you like to see?
