Hello,
It’s happened twice now. My watch has been partially resetting on its own. Settings like the watch face, notifications, and sports modes are reverting to default. Even my imported contacts disappear. Has anything like this happened to you?

RodolpheBelle yes. Happened the same one time.
Happened to me twice too in 3 days of using
Hey could any of you confirm if you had a World Clock set during when the issue occurred?
samanvayshobhit no nothing like that … it has become a pile of junk
RitvikRungta I made a post about this, its a “fix” which I discovered. I’ve not faced this issue since here it is I’ll just copy paste it
I have a pretty solid theory on why this happens.
The ram falls short and
the storage falls short as well. The Ram uses swap memory (virtual memory) meaning it uses the remaining free storage as ram. This means when we’re doing tasks it uses ram and when ram gets finished it starts using the storage as ram. Now if we have very little free storage then the ram usage exceeds the free storage and our watch freezes. During this process the storage also corrupts due to which it resets. . If the swap memory gets full then storage corrupts, this is standard in all OS but android and windows are really advanced and keep clearing ram to prevent this but Watch OS are as not advanced.
Solution: keep storage free on the watch.
1. Reboot the watch periodically to free up ram
2. Delete all the watch faces you don’t use
3. Remove world clocks
4. Remove reminders.
5. Turn off weather updates
6. Remove alarms
I’m following only number 2 and have not faced this reset issue since October 13
samanvayshobhit Ya I figured it was something to do with the RAM but that you for the deep dive.
I have removed all the unused watch faces now, lets see how it goes but tbh I have not heard of or faced something like this in other pseudo smartwatches I have owned or used so seems like CMF has an optimisation issue which they should fix.
I recently purchased the CMF Watch Pro 2, and it had been working fine for a week. But starting today, the phone resets automatically everytime i try to connect it to my mobile app. The data is lost. I am not able to do any operations on my CMF mobile app, since the watch connection is very unstable. As soon as i unbind and pair my device back, the watch gets stuck for a moment, and resets itself. Is this a known issue?
PS, i have not updated the firmware or the mobile app recently. And I have also tried this on a different mobile, still the issue persists. The watch is now close to unusable. How to get this replaced? The Customer service guys are of no help.
MukeshMurugan Hey mate. This seems like very strange behaviour. You have contacted support via https://nothing.tech/pages/contact-support? This is the best way to get support/troubleshooting.
I’d try some further:
hrry Yes, I have tried to clear data/ cache. re-installed. even tried to pair via a different phone altogether. As soon as i approve the pair request, the watch freezes, and resets to factory defaults, and the connectivity to mobile app is lost.
