Speaker crackling sound

After one month of usage. My phone speaker sounding weird like radio tuning sound when I play any media or when I get call. Please give me some solution for the speaker issue

Mine also same problem..

I have bought nothing phone 1 for my father..

He was using it since 6 months.. everything was fine..

But for the last 1 month there’s weird crackling sound coming from both the speakers alternatively while playing a sound or making a call …

Can anyone tell us about issue and it’s solution…

Greetings to everyone, I hope the week is treating you all well.

I have bought a brand new NP 2 directly from Nothing less than 3 days ago.

I have noticed that when the speaker sound level is increased to above 75% there is a very distracting cracking/popping sound. My previous phone is just as loud but doesn’t have this issue.

My previous phone had Dolby Atmos sound processing software on it and it appears that the NP 2 doesn’t have any ‘sound processing’ settings for the device it self’s sound.

I am wondering, has anyone else experienced this issue?

(I have already described and reported this issue to Nothing customer support)

When playing any video or music from the YouTube app or website, the top speaker crackles. However, this has not been observed in other music streaming apps while playing the same song or media

Yes, facing the same issue here. It is more prominent on Youtube app , still present on Youtube music app but effect is very minimal there. Any resolutions you guys got?

Yep same here too, annoyed since the last few updates. The speakers have gone down to ditch. I don’t how could something obvious as speakers be so messed up

I am just bought NP2 last month. Now also facing the same issue. I call the phone dealer and they ask me sending back to their services centre to check if under warranty. Do any one have done fixing it after received from the services centre?

I tried vaccum cleaner and air blower as well and it didn’t worked.

Then I went to settings> searched mono audio> then adjusted towards right speaker. It helps during watching videos or listing to music. But not on call conversations. Just annoyed with this cheap speakers

Vikram Not fully, seems the 2.0.4 update solved it for some audio scenarios like spoken voice and stuff like that

I’m having the same problem and its is my 2nd day with the Nothing Phone 2. I’m utterly disappointed, did anyone get lucky fixing it? or should I get a replacement?

I got my phone (2) 3 days Back. Whenever I play music or any video at the highest volume [ YouTube, Spotify, or download music] the sound coming from the top ear side speaker is having distortion and a popping sound and feels like the speaker is cracking at the highest volume and vibrating normally . Which makes the listening experience very bad.

Take a listen to this music. place your earpiece speaker closer to your side at the max volume. Please tell me anyone is facing this issue.

Same problem in the ear side speaker when playing music at Max volume.

I do suggest people to take a listen to the audio provided.
