Advance Equalizer for CMF Buds Pro 2

Hey everyone,

It’s been a while since the CMF Buds Pro 2 launched, and most of the users feel that CMF Buds Pro 2 must also have Advance Equalizer. The basic equalizer is okay, but it doesn’t give us the fine-grained control we need to really customize the sound.

Many of us were hoping to see this feature added in a recent update, but no luck so far. Can anyone from the CMF team shed some light on when we can expect to see this feature?

Also you can release it as in app purchase optionally if you don’t want it free.

Hopefully so as I think choice and customisation would be a big plus, I do find the presets that are included in the Nothing X app to fairly good for my ears though.

I’d imagine that the missing equaliser settings is to do with cost, customer and, upgrade path. Nothing might see CMF Buds Pro 2 as a pre-entry to the Nothing line, leaving enough premium features from CMF because the majority of customers don’t want/need them, and if it’s a blocker to purchase you look at the more premium Nothing line? Maybe?

This is my first comment in the community. I too believe the CMF buds pro 2 lacks a realistic approach towards Equalizer. The so called manual Equalizer only shows bass, mid and treble as option instead of frequencies. Hyperbass option is pretty useless as there’s sufficient bass which your ears can take . Only the sound clarity is comprised as I felt.

So, I installed wavelet app for better equalization. It’s works like a charm. Only thing you need to do is, put your buds on manual Equalizer mode and set bass, mid and treble at 0 level for maximum flat frequency response. Then get back to wavelet app and search for CMF buds pro eq preset. It’s already there. Then set the graphic Equalizer option according to your taste and need. There are other options in the paid version.
