Hey there,

Really pumped for the new compass widget that came with 2.0.3, fits perfectly in my setup !

Is there any chance we can have a full screen view (open in-app) compass or will stay at the widget state ?

Remi F Interesting idea. In what instances would you rather use a full screen view, versus the simplified widget option? Maybe the full screen displays more info - not sure what though.

Maybe when you just want to know the directions of a place just once? With a widget, you have to remove other blocks on the home screen and then add it, then you have to remove it if you don’t use it that often. Having an app would be much more convenient for those onetime situations.

If you’re concerned about storage, why not just add it to the playstore? Anyone who needs it can download it from there.

Yes, there are third-party apps, but I want a Nothing styled one to match the flow and besides, how do I know if they’re safe?

Matteo Riso From what I’ve learned, the update has only been available in India. I downloaded the update packages to 2.0.2a and 2.0.3 from XDA and updated the system manually today.

As a motorcycle rider, I like the idea of having a full-screen, screen-always-on, compass view near the moto dashboard as good looking as the one by Nothing! Would use it alongside a Garmin GPS. Or even better a turn-by-turn navigation app by Nothing like Beeline to bridge the gap for needing to buy extra hardware. @changename

I’ve noticed innacuracy with the compass widget.

I use it to sit in a spiritually inclined direction and recently found out that my compass widget is inaccurate by 30 degrees… or rather, the actual north is a few more degrees right of the shown North.

Please fix this Nothing! 🌞

raggyrao did you calibrated it like its sometimes showed in the Maps app?

A suggestion i could add to the compass app would be that is shows level. My Huawei honor play had that function where the compass app would also double as a level meter. Laid flat on the back it would show level or how many degrees it’s off and when turned on the side it would transition to where you can line it up with the horizon. It’s a very nifty and a one off use, but it’s fun to mess around if you don’t have an actual level with you.
