After the update of latest security patch

Battery backup reduced its not even 6 hrs SOT (screen on time) of normal usage day by day its worse and heating issue also exist

Earlier there were no such issue interms of Heat & battery backup

Note: so far there is no camera improvement seen and no updates realated to that, I thing you guys ignored NP2 camera updates..

Observing severe battery drain since the latest update. Used to last easily for a day and now I have to charge twice a day. Basic youtube leads to extreme overheating. Idle battery drain is also there. Loosing around 10% overnight. Hopefully this will be addressed in upcoming update.

To all of you who experienced battery drain and heat issues - did the last 2.5.5. updated fix these problems? What is the situation with your battery now?

svevan97 until this update there never was a heating issue. But after 2.5.5 gaming performance has degraded and the device is heating up. I play Efootball and before this update Max temp hovered around 38C but now it crosses 40C and there are lags and frame drops. Hope nothing does something.

I am getting best battery backup…with 9 hrs+ SOT and still 16% battery still left..amazing work by nothing…mind blown..

And yes I am a heavy user which includes 40-45 mins of gaming at medium graphics settings as well

We nothing phone 2 users are facing Heating while normal usage and even on charging. The charging is very slow from last 3 updates.. this need fix and some network fluctuations are still there …

Everything is running smoothly for me, there are no issues such as heating or slow charging. Perhaps you reside in a region where the temperature exceeds 30°C, whereas the temperature around me rarely exceeds 25°C.

Oh ,yeah the temperature definitely is more but in indoors too phone is heating bit more than regular while watching YouTube videos too that’s not really expected . And the battery backup has just gotten worse with updates for me. Is there any fix leaving factory resetting the phone.

Hi everyone! Please help me out with some issues regarding the battery performance for my nothing phone 2:-

Battery drain overnight is almost about 1% per hour with the phone kept idle.
Battery getting finished a little bit quicker than it used to just a week before and charging only upto 4600 mah

That’s what I get with the dynamic refresh rate on , and 5g and with a minimum of 2 hrs of Bluetooth listening.

With 22% remaining.

This is after the Nothing os 2.5.5 .

The best SOT on Phone 2 till date on my usage.
