That’s what I get with the dynamic refresh rate on , and 5g and with a minimum of 2 hrs of Bluetooth listening.

With 22% remaining.

This is after the Nothing os 2.5.5 .

The best SOT on Phone 2 till date on my usage.

Just consuming content on ott platforms and on wifi it can go upto 15 hours or little more

I am not just saying but actually would have gone around 15 hours but I used others apps too for 4-5 hours and then got 7-8 hours of ott. Brightness was around 85% for 8 hours and 60% for the rest of the time and dynamic refresh. Never turned on the battery saver.

Battery backup is pretty impressive.

Me with 50% Left and only 4 hrs of SOT. On wifi all time and Dynamic refresh rate on. Earlier used to charge it to 85-90 and was getting the same SOT before 2.5.3.

It’s keep getting worse for me on every update

See the below stats

Mobile network is taking up 50% of battery life, SOT is hardly 2hrs

Even if everything was off, there was a reduction of 5% (15% to 10%) in 20 mins, in standby mode

hrshlbhgt If u can , can u reset the phone and take 2 , 3 days and inform here?. My battery is too gotten worse with updates but not like yours still isn’t that good. If u will reset then kindly reply here after 2-3 days of usage will be helpful.

For me Battery life have been degraded quite a bit for me after 2.5.5 ..I was able to play pubg 6+hrs on a full charge continuously but now after the update I was only able to reach 4.5 to 5 hrs max continues gameplay

Anonymous idk …if I get a secondary Device I’ll do it for sure …. I used get 8 hrs of sot when i bought the phone…after every update the battery life is degrading …. I bought this phone planning to use it for atleast 3 years so if this degradation goes like this idk if I’ll be able to reach 3 years ..that’s what iam concerned about

The battery used and screen on time has no correlation. I thought this is happening for my phone but i check same with another phone to. When battery chages slow it lasts longer while it charges very rapidly then it drain nothing like that. Such a poor optimisation has been done for this device for cost cutting

AppuNcube Yeah me too, i was getting like more than 8 hours some day and my charge cycle was 30-85% it’s gotten really worse and the game i played was only F1 -23 sometimes as it drained a lot of battery i stopped playing. This is really bad . I really want to know if resetting the device would work or not as it’s already not giving me a good battery backup and because of heat here battery is already degrading out. I’m worried. So if anyone has reseted their phone and saw improvements it will be helpful if they reply.

The phone battery was 50% on Android 14 and in just 15 minutes it went to 10 percent. This is the first time I’m facing the battery issue. Also it’s showing that there is a update but have none

SonalChaudhary_W5TA0EEkCk Hi, is this issue resolved. I faced similar issue. But after Restarting my device the issue seems to be fixed.

Hello everyone, I’ve been delving into my Nothing Phone (2) for a few days now, and it’s been quite the experience. This phone is incredible, and the battery life is phenomenal! However, I’ve noticed some background processes from the Nothing Launcher. Is this normal, possibly due to widgets? 23 hours seems like a lot of time in the background
