Please let us hide the navigation bar, gesture pill and status bar, as we aren’t able to do this from ADB anymore on Android 14 and there are no other android distros for the 2a Mediatec chipset.

I am seriously considering going back to my F(x)Tec Pro1 solely because of this issue. For my use case it makes the phone very frustrating to operate.

Not shilling the Pro1 as you can’t buy that phone anymore. 🙂

For “Nothing Developers” major update means to add a new function in the widget app. What do you think to provide an option to remove navigation bar is easiest thing to do for them. They are working day and night to make this thing possible for the upcoming “massive update”.

I really hope this is added soon. I already noticed the navigation bar burned into the screen in my Nothing Phone 2a, and I had the phone for less than 2 weeks.

Probably end of June. The Phone 2 is way way behind the 2A for some reason. 99% of Nothing attention is on the 2A, Phone 2 is pretty much forgotten at the moment….

Edit (clarification): I would like to hide the navigation bar (when using 3 button nav) and notification panel.

I would like to do this. It used to be possible with ADB but that is not the case anymore.

This for more immersive experience and preventing oled burn in.

Is this possible? If not, can this please be added?
