Really wish if we could customize the glyph notification on the “phone2” for example, a particular glyph for a message from my wife or dad/mom. Likewise, a particular glyph light we can customize for specific app like whatsapp, telegram, etc.

It would be so cool and make the phone so much valuable.

Could we expect this in the OS 3.0?

How do you decide which design concept to go with for Nothing OS during R&D? What factors or criteria do you consider when finalizing a concept?

My doubts would be in relation to the homogenization of the pending improvements in NP1 and NP2 that NP2a does have, such as haptic vibration or camera widgets. In NOS3.0 will we all have the same new features? It would be the logical thing in the flagship phone.

You have talked about new features in the speed of photo processing thanks to the new photo gallery. The big question is… With NOS3.0 will new features come to the camera app and its logarithm and post-processing?

Will there be a battery‑level indicator for the Phone (2a) and the Phone (2a) Plus? If not, will you consider including it in the next Nothing OS update? The Glyph light at the top left‑hand corner can be used as a battery‑level indicator.

Do you have further plans on the development of the lock screen?

I think there’s good potential to really expand on it’s function, without making it too cluttered. Music playing on the AOD would be a great feature to implement, whether it be the Music Widget on the lock screen widgets or a simpler implementation.

Will Nothing OS ever feature a close all apps button in the immediate vicinity when in multitasking? (Instead of having to scroll through all the apps to the left.)

if you set Bedtime mode you can find it under “Screen options at bedtime”

Natalie ✨ When nothing is bringing their own phone dialer. Answer in this update, in the quick setting can we change the size of tiles with hold and swipe the resize button or we have to tap each and every time.

Yes they remove the NDot font and we don’t know if we be able to change fonts.

Are you going for a interface that become more and more customizable by user, or do you prefer to guide user to a smaller but better interface ?
Older widget will get some upgrades ? (More sizes, more custom options…)
Will notification panel will have a smoother animation when changing widget size ? (like iOS)

Natalie ✨ it’s a shame the workshops have stopped on discord as this would be a perfect topic for them.

Now that we have a gallery app coming, does this open the door for more Nothing apps? What would determine if an app should be just a Google app or find an app vs Nothing investing time and resource making an app? Curious as wasn’t the original idea to not re invent the wheel?

Also with the de emphasis of the ndot font now in the os. Will the design language of NOS 3 trickle down into other nothing areas such as the website? Forums? (might be already) and the CMF watch and products.

Lastly, as we know there is a an active community especially within the design and development space who love making concepts and products for nothing. To serve the community better will Nothing consider publishing a design and brand guideline and resources pack to help this community. For example, style guide for apps, fonts and images to download, so that people making apps and things can do so with a consistent vision to the os

Natalie ✨ There will be the IA live conversation (IA companion) as we can see a few months ago in June in a Carl Pei’s video ? Because I don’t see it in the NOS 3.0 video
