Not major issue,

if any message receives, when I open the message app, again the message popup were showing…

Shiva there is option to turn off pop up message in setting. pls go through options.

How about a phone app as well, maybe consider a few system apps too. It’s 2024 and they don’t have apps of their own !!

Not like that, while using other app if message receives the popup notification will come.. this will ok..

If I went to message app again popup notification were showing…. I’m already in message app only… then why notification popup for unread messages..

Shiva Dude , thats a the expected behavior of an app. it will give notification no matter what unless you turn off. its the apps job to give notification. thats the way its built so you wont miss out important message. google isnt dumb enough to leave bugs like that.

Shiva pls add screenrecording of issue for better understanding. you can also switch to other messaging app. you might get same result I am not sure. I am not sure how much time people spend on SMS app. like even OTP’s can be copied from notification it self. you spend 1-2 min there and yet you dont want to see another message notification.

Just now I updated the Google Message App…

Then now repeat notification is not coming…

Issue was solved…..
