When searching for apps in the app drawer, the search uses prefix matching as opposed to substring matching (only looks for apps that start with the search query instead of the occurrence of the search query anywhere in the app’s name). Was this a conscious and intended decision to choose one over the other? And why? My previous phone used substring matching, and I found it slightly quicker when trying to find my desired application.
