Voicemail Activation

Does anyone know how can we activate Voicemail Service in Nothing Phone (2)?

In Voicemail setting it ask to enter the voicemail number but which number to add? If i add my secondary number the call forwards to it & that’s what we have call forwarding for.

I want to activate it in Jio & BSNL

I also tried to know how apple has activated it in iOS 18 but there is no voicemail settings to check which number has been entered or which setting is configured.

I think even Google has this in Pixel Phones but how can we activate the same in ourNothing Phone Series Phone (2)

1. Jio Voicemail Activation:

Jio doesn’t offer a direct visual voicemail service like iPhones but does support voicemail via call forwarding.
Dial ‘1299’ from your Jio number to activate voicemail.
To set up the voicemail number on your Nothing Phone (2):
- Go to Phone Settings.
- Tap on Voicemail and select Set Up.
- In the voicemail number field, enter 1299 (Jio’s voicemail number).
Once done, calls will forward to your voicemail when unanswered.

2. BSNL Voicemail Activation:

For BSNL, voicemail services can be activated via USSD code.
Dial ‘17010’ to activate BSNL voicemail.
Once activated, follow the same steps in Phone Settings on your Nothing Phone (2):
- Go to Phone > Settings > Voicemail.
- Add 17010 in the voicemail number field.

Thanks But it’s not working.

I tried on Jio But I got an SMS in return containing My Jio Number Bal & Plan Details. Voicemail not activated.

As for BSNL, it says The Number is invalid.

I can’t get my voicemail to work either. Idk what jio or that other thing is. Kinda sucks I have to call that number to hear voicemail like it’s the 90s
