I have faced a number of issues with YouTube app usage in my phone 2 over the past few months.
- YouTube shorts frequently runs into issues with flickering when moving from one video to another or showing the same shorts twice while doom scrolling or showing a video with audio of a next short. Multiple such issues. I can’t easily repro the issue but they happen once a week for sure.
- Regular video also has issues once in a while where the video goes black and only audio gets played. Sometimes this doesn’t get resolved even if I kill and restart the app. I will have to restart the phone itself.
These issues have made the experience very poor. I have reported this via feedback as well and it has been a few months and there hasn’t been any fix for this yet.
