Typing Experience: Good or Bad?

Hey guys! Quick question about typing on this phone.

How’s the experience? Is it snappy when you tap the keys, or is there a lag?
Can you actually enjoy texting on it?

I’m on the fence about buying one, but I can’t try it out myself. So, any thoughts you can share would be awesome! Thanks a bunch!

3rdBrain the typing is very enjoyble on this phone, and i suggest to you a Fleksy keyboard.

I really like it, I think the size and the boxiness of the device really helps the experience, even if the phone is on the larger side. I came from a Huawei Mate 40 pro, and the curved display made typing on it really difficult, it was a noticeable change when I moved to Nothing Phone (1) but, this does apply to all the other Nothing phone’s as they all have a similar shape/feeling.

And what do you think about the touch response time?
I mean, we’re talking milliseconds here, so it’s not like we can really measure it ourselves. But does it feel snappy enough to you?

3rdBrain the touch respons time is very fast, i like it.

The size of the keyboard and responsiveness is great - I’ve never felt there were any issues with it. One thing I would love for them to work on is a more premium feeling haptic feedback for typing but that is pretty nitpicky and I’m not sure how many people are actually bothered by that.
