Changing APN settings - Canada

The APN settings withy current provider (Telus) are not allowing me to connect to their LTE service and it seems like it’s an easy enough fix but it requires me to add a new APN settings. The issue is when I go into my APN settings I do not have an option to do this, does anyone know how or if I am able to add new APN settings on the 2a?

Hi mate, they are often locked. My APN settings are locked on my Phone(1) have been locked on previous devices I’ve owned too.

I’d suggest adding a new APN (top right hand corner of the APN screen) and switching to that. Make sure the APN settings are accurate as it won’t save otherwise.

If it won’t allow you to add a new one, I’d contact your network directly for assistance.

hrry Hey, yeah my issue is that I don’t have a “+” under the APN settings to add new settings and when I reached out to my provider for help they just told me that the APN settings is strictly on the device side and they can do nothing to influence them. Not know much (anything) about this I’m just kinda lost in limbo and don’t know what to do next, is it really a device side issue or is my provider actually preventing me from being able to use the 2a on their network?

tebygraves no that’s not an option for me, everything is greyed out when I open the menu the only option I have it “cancel”
