Just saw the oxygen OS 15 announcements (
Not a fan of 100% of the things but iOS and OnePlus get one thing definitely right in terms of being organically smooth and snappy in navigation, transitions and micro interactions. Very well optimised. UX is soo fab, along with exclusive features journeys and provisions that understand the users so much.
Most of these are legit upgrades. AI also used right in most of the places, not just hype.
I love nothing so much but sometimes it does feel like using a downgraded stock Android with a ui skin and nothing more. And sometimes a WIP at that too.
Ik they’re just started, but like since they’re already 5 phones down they have a lot to learn. I hope we don’t stop at just surface level design shipped with out of the box digital marketing - and I hope we go deeper. So hopefully OnePlus anol bringing this kinda quality will push them to do the same asw.
