Nothing OS 3.0 | Open Beta 1 for Phone (2)
- (Edited)
Yes battery is draining faster than 2.6
Houtas I don’t think so…
SrijitMondal_B10Wc1HAjZ This is AI based sorting the whole stuff is done using AI then in this case if they give us option to edit then what’s the point of having AI and secondly this is beta phase. So this is expected to have bugs
Update is good but worse thing about nothing support team is they’re not acknowledging camera and battery related issue with nothing phone 2 they should clearly mentioned if they are going to work on this or not as I compare this with OnePlus 12r which is 40k device and that have great camera compare with np2
I’ve got to test this on a device that wasn’t mine and I really liked it! the 2 things that I wish will be carried over from N.OS 2.6 to 3.0 is the option to have the dot matrix font instead of the Roboto whatever font (if there was a statement about this I missed it) and to also have the option to use the 2.6 lock screen style as I find it’s more creative than the style that most companies use with clock on the side or in the middle of the top area. other than that, sick update, can’t wait for the official release!
Fr4nKB Phone (2) and Phone (2a) in December
Fr4nKB No they mentioned December and they also cleared that Phone (2) and Phone (2a) will receive the stable release first and at the same time. And yes definitely Phone (1), Phone (2a) Plus and CMF Phone (1) will receive beta in december but Phone (2) and Phone (2a) will receive stable in december
Over all I am really impressed by all new features but I can’t find a gallery on my phone after the upgrade the btea version of 3 in plus most of widget didn’t got it like the sone one the locked screen and I am not allowed large widget but didn’t find the new clock at all !!
There is some text above your clock with the date and month but I think the font looks a bit out of place so I would love an option to change that font or remove it.
Hello everyone,
I’ve updated to Nothing OS 3.0 Beta (Pong-V3.0-241028-1925-IND). After the update, I’m experiencing consistent crashes in the Quick Settings menu. Whenever I attempt to select the “Edit” option, the menu crashes unexpectedly, and a pop-up appears with the message “System UI has stopped,” showing the app info screen. Some options remain visible beneath it. I’ve tried restarting the device and clearing the app data for System UI, but the issue persists. Has anyone else encountered this problem, or found a workaround?
So When’s the stable version coming out

Melik_ahBal_k Same issue for battery saver also , i’m facing the same issue
Problem with bluetooth, it pairs, but cannot connect to the device, low brightness of the locked screen during AOD, some app. cannot be opened.
ShivaSharma_FcSuQZPSgz , If the issue isn’t resolved, try performing a factory reset. Additionally, if you’re using any work profiles specific to your organization, be aware that updating may cause issues. If that’s the case, you’ll need to remove the work profile before proceeding with the update.
The main issue I suspect is that work profiles operate within their own address space, and the applications are encrypted in such a way that, during an update, the new version may not be able to decrypt these address spaces, apps, and files properly.
From what I’ve observed, performing a factory reset will likely revert the device to an older version (either 2.0 or 3.0, though I’m not certain). In my previous experience, it rolled back to version 2.0. Good luck dude.!!!
