My new widget concept, Nothing Hub. This widget will have 4 different pages, and each is customizable. For example, when you scroll down, it could be the weather widget, not the calendar. Each widget is quite straightforward, so I don’t think I need to explain. Anyway, what do you guys think?

Jordan oh nice. So this is like the iOS stackable widgets? Would this then adapt to which widgets/apps, you use the post or, would the pages stay static?

    Interesting functional concept.

    good idea!

I created a Widget in KWGT that allows you to change the calendar and at glance with a tap and I find it very useful!

I hope this concept reaches the NOTHING team and is adopted.

Jordan cool like stacked widgets I love the design

Can you create lockscreen customisation widgets and more depth effect clocks etc..

      Jordan

Hey Jordan, awesome work on this! The design is super clean, and I love how you made it so customizable. Having the weather, calendar, and to-do list all in one place is really handy, and I especially like how you’ve put the temperature right on the first slide—it’s a nice touch for quick glances and I especially appreciate how you’ve put the temperature right on the first slide—makes it easy to check at a glance. Nice touch!

Here are a few ideas I think could make it even better:

      1. Visual Feedback: Similar to the Nothing Weather app, a bit of subtle animation or visual feedback would be cool. It could help users instantly recognize which page they’re on, which would make navigation feel even smoother.

      2. Headlines Page: While it’s a cool addition, I’m not sure it’s as necessary as the other pages. Maybe it could be swapped out for something more practical, like a quick notes section, a fitness tracker, or even a battery monitor—something that users might check more often.

      3. Reordering Pages: It’d be nice if users could rearrange the pages according to what they use most. For me, having the calendar follow the to-do list would be ideal, but having that flexibility would make it more personalized for everyone.

Overall, this is a fantastic concept, and I think these tweaks could make it even better. Can’t wait to see where this goes!

Jordan Ah, I see! Thanks for clarifying, Jordan. It’s great to know the order can be customized—I must’ve missed that part! That flexibility really adds to the usability. The widget is looking even better now that I know you thought of that. Can’t wait to try it out.

Your concept for the “Nothing Hub” widget sounds interesting! The idea of customizable pages where users can switch between different widgets, like weather and calendar, is a great way to offer flexibility and personalization. It would be especially useful for those who like to have quick access to multiple types of information without cluttering their screen. The simplicity you mentioned is definitely a plus, as it could make the widget easy to use for a wide range of users. I’m curious about how the customization will work—will users be able to select other widgets too, or is it fixed?

AskToTalks Yes, the user can also combine other widgets of their choice. Maybe they can drag and drop the widget of their choice.

Jordan this idea is good one! specially when you mentioned each widget is customizable. my question is that the customization is only with widget type or can we enlarge or minimize the app types when we select. and, is this only limited to 4 different apps or we can have more?

Say, is nothing hub only focus on widgets or any other features to be integrated in later updates?

Jordan Too many dots. Looks too busy and very unpolished. The initial ones were good. May be try a different approach than just the icon of battery.
