Brightness increase in full screen mode

Hello people, I’ve been using the CMF Phone 1 for the past four months and have noticed that the brightness automatically increases whenever I switch to full-screen mode while watching videos on YouTube , either by tapping or rotating the device. Is there a solution to this issue?

sreenjoydas sometimes such behaviour is forced by particular apps like i know Jiocinema app does it. Do check if is happening in all apps.

there’s also an option in the settings to maximize brightness when viewing HDR content (on by default I think). Try to turn that off

marco I tried it but it doesn’t work.. When I set the brightness to its lowest level in fullscreen, it doesn’t take effect. However, when I exit fullscreen, the brightness reverts to the lowest setting.
