hrry oh its so wide topic, but some examples that comes in my mind is education… f.e. scan statue and get miniature 3d model that can be printed out and used for demonstration purposes (kids love not only see pictures, but also use tactile senses). Secondly, sometimes something brakes for tools, kids toys etc. and this small damage can lead to throw whole item out, instead it would be awesome to scan broken peace and simply print replacement.
Of course, 3d scanning is not only about getting printable models it could widen all kind of artistic talents, photo video etc.
