Nothing Settings - Refined Concept

Hello nothing community!!!!!
i have a cool concept, I hope you like it

My main idea was to modernize/make the user experience more consistent with the user screen of the settings app.

When you select one of these boxes (referencing the Glyph Interface screen). Choosing one of these areas takes you to a more streamlined section where you can adjust your preferences.

In short, I tried to make the settings screen more consistent with the style that nothing chose.

Would you Invision this been the default look or something you toggled on?

Anonymous126 liked for the effort but the concept itself is not user friendly.

The boxed sections are all the same and the user must take a guess if the box is a toggle or it does open more settings, and this is an obvious symptom that the UI needs to be fixed.

Completely disagree about the bottom section too, not very practical since you do not have the same amount of info you have in the current UI.

For me is a decent first iteration for design research, but it is impossible to have things done good in one step. Just iterate and keep designing until the new design is better than the old one, and above all “more usable”.

hrry Since you can’t force a person with one style or another, I would prefer it as a thing to activate. (Example: select your ui style/Accessibility setting)

That is a good idea, but I prefer the NOTHING OS, which has not been modified much from Android to the feel of use.

Not cool at all, the large icons looks like something from the past and early 2000’s, but keep on trying.

Nothing001 I’m not saying that the actual nothing UI is bad. I’m just saying that the current style should apply across all subsequent screens, giving the user a more consistent experience.

I’m not here to say what the UI should become. I’m here to share my ideas, and make them public.

For any feedback I am open-armed 🙂

I really like this idea! Here are a few pieces of feedback based on my perspective:

- I assume the cropped icon ideas came from the widget screen, but unlike widget previews, icons need full visibility to communicate effectively with the user. Therefore, I believe that not cropping the icons is the right approach. Scaling them down and placing them in the bottom right corner should work well.

- I have a feature suggestion: since the icon is already present, settings like hotspot and airplane mode could benefit from a quick toggle feature within the box itself. Perhaps we could consider making the icon itself a button that changes color when tapped and functions as a toggle. I’m not sure if this is the best user experience; if not, maybe a regular quick toggle could be placed in the bottom right corner instead.

- Nothing OS uses flat colors throughout the interface, so the gradient background for those squares feels out of place.

- Additionally, the “Looking for other settings” suggestion needs more spacing between each line; otherwise, the target area for each setting to tap will be very narrow.
