ShanthoshS Hi Community , When I’m recording a video in 4k 60 fps on back camera. Mobile is getting heating up more at front and back at top portion. The recording is of 10min only max. Please fix this. The issue is happening in the 2nd day of purchase.
robbins0172 I have had the same issue as well. It will sometimes go into a heat overload protection mode and shut itself completely off. Only happened a few times in the beginning, and I have not recently tried again but I’m on the Beta of Android14 so I may be in a fixed or patched version. Would be nice to get an official answer on it.

try4praveen My nothing phone 2 is heating above 40°C even after moderate use of 20 minutes by watching insta reels or watsapp video call. I’m not a gamer. Is it happening to customers who are having phone 2? What is the normal phone temperature of yours? Please reply

Azharuddingazi Now I face nothing phone 2 is over heating issue just before last 3 days please update and fix this issue.
Mr_SuryaTeja My device is over heating with no usage. I turned off the device due to over heating at night and turned on at morning. It still feels heat a lot with no background apps running. Outside temperature is also not that hot and it’s normal as before.
VishwanathS_ghante Mr_SuryaTeja bro there are 2 chances 1. Some apps are running in background 2. Some os problem or there should be problem with your unit if you have warranty you should contact nothing
BHUVANV I think its because some app is constantly in the background causing that issue check your battery isage and uninstall the app using too much battery by running in the background i had the same issue and i had to uninstall Instagram once that was done it seemed fine
Mr_SuryaTeja I tried factory resetting the device. Still the device heats as before. the charging is also taking more time around 120min to charge.
Remi F Mr_SuryaTeja ok you factory reset your phone but did reinstall your apps ? There maybe an app that a bad behavior in the background due to bad update. Check your background running apps in the developer setting menu.
