  • Nothing EQ - Is there any way to recreate the 'More Bass' preset in the Advanced EQ?

The Nothing Ear is a great product. I tried the EQ presets and ‘More Bass’ was amazing - I loved the Skullcandy Crusher type bass you get and the mids and treble didnt sound as full, but that’s understandable since it’s a tradeoff. That being said, the vocals and treble were still dece tly clear but the treble was a bit too harsh for my taste. So I used the ‘Custom’ function in the Simple EQ to try replicate the ‘More Bass’ preset and whenever I slightly increase the bass OR mids by like +2, the overall volume decreases. I don’t know why that is. Compared to the ‘More Bass’ preset, there was less bass and the mids and treble sounded quieter in Custom.

So I moved on to the Advanced EQ AND searched for a good Advanced EQ template as my starting point. I found a good one (RZ Curve) and I tweaked it a bit by increasing the mids. The vocals and treble were much clearer compared to any of the presets in the Simple EQ, and the bass was good, but it didn’t hit as hard as it did on the ‘More Bass’ preset.

How can I recreate this preset in the Advanced EQ whilst still retaining at least 90% of vocal/treble clarity? Any help will be appreciated 😁

I have an issue with any In-ear products as no sooner than you put them in and they fall right back out. Is it possible to have a style where they can hook over your ear so that they can not fall out ?

drgrantnz I’m not sure if you’ve heard, but there is this style called ‘open earbuds’ which do exactly that. Nothing has one called ‘Ear(open)’
