Dev should refine the animations more

And while closing games there are lags and jitters which was not present in the previous version

I request to the dev to please optimize the software on nothing phone 2 and also improve a llittle the camera ..it’s been a long time since any dedicated camera update came …

Strange because I experienced the opposite in regards to the animations. Pleasure to use the phone with this new update. They fixed a lot of stuff that makes me feel a more stable experience.

For the camera: not that bad as some ppl say here but there’s some room for the improvement

HariharanR_G So true. . After UI 3.0, my phone performs glitchy often and it’s not constant with any App. Every time I found one or the other glitch and before I take a screenshot, it’s gone. It’s irritating but that’s what it is. I really wish the Dev. Team focuses on each variant equally.

SreyanPattnaik Yeah seems so.. the QS feels great now and there were some intermittent issues; means they occured randomly in the NOS3.0 so I’m not sure if these got fixed in the latest update.

But soo far the device feels smooth which is what I expected to be in the initial stable release.

Also I noticed now the screen contrast and colours are greatly calibrated. Do a factory reset if you didn’t after the major update! 😉

SreyanPattnaik Yeah you are right. It happened for me as well when I just tried to open and close Brawl stars which is a not soo resource intensive game.

Looks like Nothing team is on whole new level with fixing one and introducing new bugs.

I can foresee the fate as how the devs will treat us users post the NP3 release.

I don’t know why the new update has lot of bugs. It is laggy and inconsistent with the previous version. I hope the Nothing company will sort out the bugs and glitches. Thank you 🙏

In the interest fairness. I have a NP2 Nothing OS 3 and its s great phone. I haven’t experienced any of the issues mentioned here. Don’t know what the problem is!

Wiseguy2505 Nothing Phone 2 honestly doesn’t provide you the flagship-level of experience which Oneplus used to provide when Carl was the CEO. If you get used to that level of software combined with the hardware, you will obviously start pixel-peeping the issues.

And then there is the proof that we users have shared over here which clearly shows the horrible state of optimizations on this phone.

HariharanR_G Phone (2) is terrible for its price. Nothing OS is also the most feature-less as compared to the competition. And now Carl himself said that the alert slider isn’t as useful as the Glyph Interface. He has really lost his way. I stopped liking Carl and Nothing the moment they came up with (2a) Plus. I had actually bought this phone because of Carl. Biggest regret choosing Nothing. Switching back to OnePlus or going ahead to Samsung.

I don’t know how many have this problem, it started two days back and still persist. When I open WhatsApp chat and play voice notes, the screen stuck in, once I play the voice, it became black screen and directly play in the receiver. Which is ok but the screen will froze and I have to press the power button to wake the screen, then back to main chats and close the voice from the top, then again open the chat and play it. have I can’t manage the playback speed, I can’t even use playback speed or adjust the voice. Also the sensor to the screen lift to wake and all gone. Now I always need power button to unlock the phone..
