CMF Watch Pro Ideas and Suggestions

Hello!

First of all, I’m from Germany and I use a translator, but I hope you understand me.

Would like to create a Thread for ideas and suggestions for the Watch.

But: This Thread should not be for discussions, only for ideas and suggestions! Otherwise this thread will become confusing!!!

There are many Suggestions and Ideas given, however they are scattered all over the place in many threads.

I know that not everything can be realized, but one or the other can be noted.

I hope that’s ok and make the start:

-I would like to see a simple calendar on the watch!

-The clock disconnects when closing the app.

-I would like to see a small dot or something similar so that I know that a notification is there. The vibration I do not always notice

-The G-Mail app is not displayed under Notification. Why? You now need another email app.

-When a call comes, the display remains dark for me. I would like the watch to show me that there is a call. It only vibrates.

-A preview image for camera control.

I bought watch pro recently, switched from my old Samsung Gear S3 so here is my list of improvements 😉

to edit all watchfaces that located on watches (for now its just 4 default and 1 can be swap) if possible allow more watchfaces to download on watch
make watchwaces clickable on its elements (like the wether) following to relevant tab
add customizable action on double click on button!!! old gear s3 had even triple click)
bug: sometimes all unread notifications from one app (like messenger) are coming at a one time when received only one from this one app
add option for alarm to ring with music
make details screens for main tabs (like the wether, activity can lead to exercise)

Hope this features wont discharge the battery…

Update:

They have revised the app, G-Mail is now listed under notifications. Thanks CMF!
You can now also turn on and off the notification options in the phone options.

Another thing that continues to bother me

-The watch disconnects when closing the app. Under Battery Settings I have Unrestricted enabled, yet the watch disconnects when closing.

Hoshie I cannot receive notifications from WhatsApp because CMF must be open in the background. I do Find My Device to find my device, but I can’t find it because CMF needs to be open in the background.

Suggestion: maybe if you make 1 widget you can solve this problem!

i feel that i should wait for the next watch,nothing phone was a much more phone than this smartwatch,i really dissapointed ,its somewhere in a drawer until it gets a huge system update.Mean time i will continue to use my cheap chinese one that it works much better than cmf watch pro does so far.

Thanks for your reply, but that has nothing to do with this thread. But let me say this: I like this watch! I’m looking forward to helping this watch evolve. Watching where the development goes.

If you want more from the start, get an Apple Watch or Samsung’s.

I’m hoping for more input and ideas for the developer, who I hope is reading along. Because they have already improved something.

I really like your ideas. I’m also from Germany and got the watch via ebay. Coming from the OnePlus watch, this watch lacks of features and customisation.

Please add the function to choose what pages I want to have.

I really liked the extra button that you could bind something else to on the OnePlus watch. I think this can’t be done here because it’s only one button.

Also please add the support for native Spotify player and or Google navigation.

I would also love to see a better charger then this thin Cable that is also to short 🙁

I would like it to wake up the screen with 2 touches. The hand movement is annoying and the button uncomfortable. Thank you

Only thing I really want is auto connect and reconnect to the CMF app.

And Google Messages definitely needs to be supported.

Some more apps/functions would be cool, the phone , music, weather, and calculator apps are awesome.

An Idea I have would to be able to scroll through an entire message if it is selected rather then just a summary of the first ~140 characters (Not sure of the actual amount it shows 😛). A nice add on to that would be to be able to reply to the message through voice 😃

I’d like to see an automatic timer for washing hands. On my Falster 3 I had to start the timer manually which completely misses the point. I mean why should I touch my watch with dirty hands? 🤨

Another nice addition would be a warning while being in a loud environment for a longer time period. Saw this popping up on the Apple Watch of a friend and thought this would be an awesome addition as many people forget that the damage done by noise can’t be undone. ☝🏼
