Nothing ear 2 case battery level not showing

I am sure at some point I was able to see the battery level of the case but now I only see the buds. When I first put them in, I can see the android notification flashes and tells me the %, then it’s gone. I can’t seem to find it anywhere and I have been digging through the settings, am I missing anything ?

You can view the case’s current battery % by opening the lid and leaving the buds inside. You can view this information in the Nothing X app. You will also see the current % in your notification area when initially opening the case and pairing your Ear 2.

Does it make sense to know the status of the battery even if the case is open but the buds are not inside? Fox example, if I hear music, I won’t put inside again only for knowing the battery level

teo230 Case is not wireless and need 2 buds in the case for Ear (1)/(stick)/(2) and at least 1 bud for Ear (2024)

Another cool option to add from Nothing is to show how many hours is the earbuds in your ears. Or how much total playtime like sony.

Please, follow my reasoning:

I open the case and I put the earbuds on the ears
I see the red dot on the case, so I want to know the battery level
I have to remove them and put them on the case (again)
Now, I can see the percentage battery of the case
At this point, I insert the earbuds on my ears (again).

It makes no sense!

Why can’t I just see the case’s battery level when I open it? So much steps…
