I have been using nothing phone (1) for the last 10 months. I am facing this issue with calling from the beginning. When I make phone calls, the other person can hear me without any issues. But I can’t hear anything. I tried to turn on the speakerphone and tried using Nothing ear(2). Rebooting the phone will fix the issue temporarily. But it will reappear randomly and I need to reboot it to get it fixed. But there are no issues with WhatsApp calls.
Also, the phone slipped out of my hands a few months ago and the back glass of the phone is broken. I tried to replace the back glass from the service center. All the service centers are very far away from my hometown. They told me the stock was not available and most of the service center didn’t even care to attend the call. So, I couldn’t change the glass.
The last week while I was watching a YouTube video the phone suddenly turned off and it is dead. I reached out to the service center and they told me since the glass was broken they couldn’t provide the warranty. This is clearly an issue from the Nothing. But I need to replace the board with around 60% of the cost of the phone.
