Continuous boot animation

just purchased nothing phone 2, i turn it on, after the logo appears, three running red dots continuosly appear on the screen, i thought the system is loading, waited for several minutes. decided to forced restart, same thing happened and its been over an hour now and still just showing three red dots running on the screen and does not proceed to home screen, is it a product defect?

Enoc Hey - If this is displaying for over an hour, it sounds like something might be wrong…I would suggest reaching out to support or the retailer for a replacement.

Yesterday I updated the phone to latest version (2.6). Then later today morning the phone displayed the crash minidump screen on its own. This stayed for a very long time. The-n I restarted the phone and it is stuck in boot loop since then. Is there any way to fix this ? Anyone else facing the same issue after the latest update ? The phone was bought around 2 months back and had no issues until today i.e after the latest update.
